Also known as Dilli, the capital city and the second largest metropolis in India after Mumbai, Delhi is a beautiful city bustling with people, an epitome of diversity and a paradigm of unity. Delhi is also a shopper’s paradise. The shopping sprees can have a wonderful time bargaining and purchasing in big markets such as the Sarojini Nagar, Connaught Place (Janpath) and Kamla Nagar. There are also some grand malls such as Ansal Plaza, EDM, Pacific Mall and Centerstage Mall etc. where you can spend an entire day gazing or purchasing the wonderful items there. If you are jewelry bug, Delhi presents one of the biggest jewelry markets in the country, Chandni Chowk. Also known as the Walled City, Chandni Chowk is famous for gems, jewelry and food. The place has some small yet fantastic eating avenues where you can relish the typical Indian masala cuisine. Other good places to pamper your taste buds are the five star hotels and restaurants in the city including the superb food stalls at Delhi Haat.

Reaching Delhi is not at all a daunting task because this city is connected to almost all parts of the country. You can take an effective means of transport such as bus, train or airplane, depending on your location and pocket. There are also a number of national and international flights to and from the Indira Gandhi International Airport that will help you in reaching and travelling in the city.
