Delhi showcases charismatic lifestyle, hustling- bustling nightlife, old-age charm and ruins of Old Delhi and mighty buildings presenting a unique blend of contemporary yet chic city and thus attracts millions of tourists every month. This metropolitan city consists of of seven cities that were built by reigning emperors. Delhi was made the capital by the then Emperor, Shah Jahan and has been the center of trade of Northern part of India.

  • Connaught Place, New Delhi- One of Delhi's oldest and most popular shopping centers with amazing architecture.
  • Janpath Market, New Delhi- Janpath is one of the busiest markets in New Delhi.
  • Chandni Chowk, Delhi- It is one of the country's best known wholesale markets for textiles, electronic goods and watches.
  • Dilli Haat- This Food and Crafts Bazaar is a one-stop shopping place for tourists that offer various arts and handicrafts of India, in addition to a taste of the ethnic cuisine. Visitors can also observe the different performing arts of the country.

Delhi also possesses great monumental heritage.

  • Red Fort, Delhi- the Red Fort was laid out on more than 2km land by the banks of the Yamuna River in the 17th century.
  • Purana Qila, Delhi- the Mughal emperor Humayun laid the foundations of this fort.
  • Qutab Minar, Delhi- Built by Qutbuddin Aibak, the viceroy of Mohammed Ghori in 1192, the Qutub Minar is the highest stone tower in India.This five-storey building with a height of 72.5 meters.Qutab Minar is an unbeaten acknowledgment to architecture, owing to the delicate and almost ethereal carvings.
  • Iron Pillar, Delhi- the 7.2 metre high iron pillar, standing within the Qutb Minar complex.
  • India Gate, New Delhi- India Gate stands at the end of Rajpath, built in memory of the 90,000 Indian soldiers who died in World War I.

Delhi’s joie de vivre is portrayed by its multicultural and religious structures.

  • Akshardham enshrines the golden idol of Swaminarayan, the founder of the Swaminarayan Faith.
  • Bahai Temple, lotus- like marble structure, represents the Bahai faith which is broad in its outlook, scientific in the influence it wields on people.
  • Jama Masjid is one of the largest mosques in India.
  • Birla Mandir is dedicated to the goddess of wealth, Lakshmi and Lord Vishnu was built by the prominent Indian industrialist Raja Baldev Das Birla and inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi.
  • Nizam-ud-din Shrine is the tomb of the famous sufi saint, Nizam-ud-din Auliya.
  • ISKCON Temple is the largest temple complexes in India dedicated to Lord Krishna.
  • Chattarpur Mandir is dedicated to Goddess Durga, is built in South Indian style.

Delhi also boasts about being a greenest city.
